Hey my gorgeous people!
Sigh… At the time that I wrote this, it was in that comfy stage of Fall. You know, that time when you might be dealing with some warm weather met with cold weather the next day. That flip flop weather that’s known for bringing on sickness and confusion on what to wear! Now? It’s FREEZING and lots of people are recovering from the blizzards, taking a spin on the black-iced roads, and now the holidays. Well, I guess its a good thing that this pattern that I am going to show off is great for Fall, Winter, and maybe Spring.
Say hello darling to VERVE! Its a preppy top from George and Ginger that is a perfect layer pattern. There are many options so lets go over them in the deets section:
- Full bust goes up to 63″
- Three different lengths (Petite, Regular, & Tall)
- Five different necklines
- Two armscyes
- Outside or hidden pockets
- Crop, Regular, & Tunic lengths
- Available in Letter, A0, BW or Color Projector files
There are many options! All of those necklines and lengths almost made me feel like I was missing out in testing having only completed and photographed one version. I made only one this time around but I would love to make a button up and make more that could match well. I bought this sweatshirt fleece from Boho Fabrics that I am in LOVE with! This fabric is so soft and squishy. It’s like wearing a hug. I bought three colors, and used the black one to make this Verve.

This pattern works great with the Extra Top, also from George and Ginger. My Extra top version is long sleeve hemmed with the cowl from the Verve. I would love to do another Verve crop and tunic length with hidden pockets. Until then, I am wearing this black one with every solid color top I have!

Happy Sewing!
