Heyyy gorgeous folks! How yall doing?
I am soon going to be adding more posts and content aside from sewing. I love sharing my personal thoughts on the patterns I test! Over the past few months I have realized that I would love to share more on my site. Like lifestyle, random thoughts, etc. You know, so you can get to know me on a more personal level. Standby! In the meantime, let’s talk about Elowyn.

Alright so I mentioned that I made a total of 4 Elowyns so far. Here’s what I LOVE about this pattern:
- Split Straps
- Color block leaves a lot of scraps used and multiple looks
- Shelf bra
- Quick sew!
My first Elowyn is made out of some amazing matte & liquid tricot from Surge Fabric Shop. I paired this pattern with the Norah bottoms (Also from PSCO) for a dope swimsuit! It’s giving super hero and I’m here for it! Second fit put me through the ringer before I got this finished result. Long story bearable, I made a different item from a different designer that was ill fitting. This neon fabric was from Buttons and Blueprint and I needed to promote it. After several moments of staring at the seam ripped make I decided on an Elowyn with a partial peplum. Ended up being a cool fashionable make! The last one I used both liquid matte from Surge and this “Black is Vibrant” DBP from Be Mary While You Flo. Another great addition to my collection! Amethyst has the perfect outfit for gymnastics! This paired so well with Tristyn leggings! Her fabric is a performance from Joann and 190 gsm ABP from Surge Fabric Shop.
I love that this pattern works up quickly while also giving edgy look at the same time. If you are in need of adding some items to your wardrobe for breaking a sweat or chilling this is the one!
