Cami Tank: A Staple for summer!

Hey beautiful people!

How have you all been?

These past few days have been pretty slow for me as I haven’t been feeling my best. All I can think about is the sewing projects that keep getting added to my mental wishlist. Meanwhile my body is like “Lmfao, girl sitcho ass down somewhere.” And I’ve been doing just that!

Before I rested my body I was in a couple tests that I thankfully completed. This Tank right here was a pattern that I was going to overwhelm y’all with. I had at least four of them I wanted to make but I got one pair in and well, wasn’t able to make more in time.

This is the Cami Tank from Greenstyle! Testing this pattern came at the perfect time because I have been wanting to make some camis! I haven’t made any before but I have made cami like dresses (Ruby from M4M) so I guess that counts? Eh. The testing call was a great opportunity because as much as I wanted to make camis, I kept getting wrapped into other things. Testing forced me to work on it asap!

This pattern comes in three lengths: crop, waist length, and hip length. There is an option for shelf bra (what a heaven sent) and you can choose between thick or skinny straps. I am not the fondest of binding, but the wide straps made it less chaotic and using this athletic knit from Joann made this smooth sailing. Binding forces me to slow down which is a blessing within itself. Almost forgot to mention, you have a few options for strap placement too! I decided on cross straps.

My version is hip length, wide straps, and shelf bra. I cannot wait to be 100% so I can make the other three! I wore this one out.

I paired this Cami Tank with the Simpatico leggings also from Greenstyle. This pattern is a new release, so its on sale! You can grab the pattern using my affiliate link here.

Happy Sewing!
