Hey gorgeous people!
Fall has come and the weather did NOT hesitate to change quickly! This is my favorite season of the year. The beautiful color leaves, the perfect weather, the fun urge to bake all the yummy desserts, and of course sewing up a fall wardrobe!

I was thankful to have the opportunity to test this new hoodie by Buttons and Bibs, the Hemlock Hoodie! This hoodie was a great addition to my fall collection and i loved the breeze of this sew! I used a cable knit from Surge Fabrics. Cozy is an overstatement with this fabric and this pattern!
I chose the tunic band length because I like that I can use leggings but it works as a mini dress if I’m feeling a little more sexy and want to show some legs! The band shows off the shape of my booty more which is another reason why I love this tunic band option!
My size for this pattern is 18 in bust and 20 in the waist and hips. I made the crossover hood, long sleeve cuffed, tunic band length with peak-a-boo pockets. There are many options and aside from this adult pattern there is one for kids too! They even have add ons such as animal ears! Honestly, I told myself that I needed some bear ears for this version but it slipped my mind when sewing it up. Sigh.

This pattern is a must have staple for fall and winter! I plan to make a couple more in these with similar options to whats pictured. And, I guess I’ll make my kids one. When I was testing this pattern they kept asking for one! Oh the joy of having kids taking advantage of a mom who sews. Lucky ducks. hehe.
You can grab this pattern here.
Happy Sewing!
